About me
Hey there! I'm Boris, a computer engineering student based in Toronto, Canada, who mainly programs in Java. I'm very passionate about server administration and robotics.
I primarily compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition as the Programming Head of 7603 VESPA Robotics.
On my own time, I'm an administrator who favours local-first solutions running on NixOS, as an enthusiastic home-labber.
Projects
Things I'm building, breaking, and rebuilding — mostly for fun and learning.
Built using Java with the WPILib library, as a part of VESPA Robotics for the NI RoboRIO embedded robotics controller. It uses the Command-Based structure with each subsystem categorized into an object and instantiated when the robot starts.
A personal toolkit for Java, the handy utilities and helpers I kept rewriting, collected into one place. It uses GitHub Actions CI for automatic builds and publish, MacOS only.
My dotfiles,a declarative NixOS configuration that powers my entire infrastructure, my mobile workstation, server, and my MacBook Pro with Asahi Linux, reproducible on any machine with the Nix language.
